Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is designed to blend naturally into the dramatic landscape of the Ngorongoro Crater. The lodge is built along the crater rim using river stone and indigenous vegetation, with accommodation arranged to maximise views of the crater below.

The lodge has 74 rooms and suites, with each room featuring a private stone balcony overlooking the crater. The Kimba Suite offers additional space with a separate sitting area, king-size bed and panoramic crater views.

Dining is centred around the main restaurant, which serves local and international cuisine with panoramic views through large windows and from its terrace. The lodge also offers distinctive safari experiences including a Crater breakfast, Crater lunch, guided nature walks and sundowners on the crater rim.

For safari travellers, the lodge provides convenient access to game drives on the crater floor, where visitors can look for wildlife including black rhinos, lions, elephants, wildebeest and buffaloes.

Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is located directly on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater in northern Tanzania, within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Its elevated position provides expansive views into the crater and makes it particularly convenient for early access to crater game drives.
